Description

This course is designed specifically for participants who wish to learn more about the application of Pilates in Pregnancy and the post natal setting. Lectures on the physiological and biomechanical changes that occur during pregnancy, the postural changes and considerations, SPD, labour, post natal recovery and precautions and contra-indications to exercise in pregnancy will be presented. Ante and Post natal class plans will be provided and specific modifications and exercises will be taught in the practical setting.

Matwork Level 1 or the attendance at a 2 day matwork course at a recognised pilates training institution is the pre-requisite for this course.
